Atarax Uses Atarax is an antihistamine. It blocks the effects of the naturally occurring chemical histamine in your body. Atarax Drug Interactions Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medication you may use, especially: brompheniramine (Dimetane, Bromphen, others), chlorpheniramine (Chlor-Trimeton, Teldrin, others), azatadine (Optimine), clemastine (Tavist), meperidine (Demerol), morphine (MS Contin, MSIR, others), propoxyphene (Darvon, Darvocet), hydrocodone (Lorcet, Vicodin), oxycodone (Percocet, Percodan), fentanyl (Duragesic), and codeine (Fiorinal, Fioricet, Tylenol #3, ), phenobarbital (Solfoton, Luminal), amobarbital (Amytal), and secobarbital (Seconal), phenothiazines such as chlorpromazine (Thorazine), fluphenazine (Prolixin), mesoridazine (Serentil), perphenazine (Trilafon), prochlorperazine (Compazine), thioridazine (Mellaril), and trifluoperazine (Stelazine), amitriptyline (Elavil), doxepin (Sinequan), imipramine (Tofranil), nortriptyline (Pamelor), fluoxetine (Prozac), paroxetine (Paxil), sertraline (Zoloft), phenelzine (Nardil), and tranylcypromine (Parnate).

Atarax Overdose If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include extreme drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, seizures, hallucinations, and decreased breathing. Atarax Notes Do not share Omnipen-N with others.
Atarax Missed Dose If you miss an Atarax dosage, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
Atarax Storage Store Atarax at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20-25 degrees C) away from sunlight and moisture.
